Background information

Pomona was the Roman goddess of fruitful abundance, typically illustrated carrying a cornucopia, and associated with the flourishing of fruit trees & orchards. The name Pomona comes from the Latin word pomum, meaning fruit.

Tasting note

Pale lemon in appearance, aromas of pear with delicate apple and zingy citrus fruit on the palate, ending in a crisp, refreshing finish.

Food match

Best served chilled as an aperitif, or to accompany a classic spaghetti carbonara.
