The Moreau family have been making wine in Chablis since 1814. The family own key vineyards in 5 of the Grand Crus and in the Chablis Premier Cru, as well as Chablis and Petit Chablis. The vineyards have been progressively moved to organic status over the past few years. The company is now headed up by Louis Moreau, who learned his winemaking skills in France and California. The style of the wines is classic Chablis.
A clear minerality in the wine, with soft citrus fruit, a very elegant wine, with a long finish.
An excellent aperitif, or with grilled fish and other seafood.
