Kingsland Drinks is proud to announce the support and sponsorship of the Salford Red Devils, a local Rugby League team, having signed a deal that will take the local wine business through the whole 2016 season.

Based in Irlam, Kingsland Drinks is a premier independent supplier of wine and sprits. Its own wine brand Shorn, which is sharing the sponsorship, is a New Zealand wine bearing a cartoon sheep on its label and stocked in Morrisons. Not just an attractive and iconic wine, it’s a great tasting wine too.

Supporting its local club, Kingsland Drinks has signed the deal with the Salford Red Devils, who play in the Super League, to include kit sponsorship; the new official shirt will sport both the Kingsland Drinks and Shorn logos.

Kingsland Manager Director, Andy Sagar, said: “As part of our long term commitment to the local community, we’re extremely proud to be sponsoring and partnering with the Salford Red Devils. As loyal fans, we are delighted to get more involved and bring a taste of Shorn to the club”.

Martin Vickers, CEO at Salford Red Devils added: “Kingsland is a local company that shares lots of values with our team, so naturally, we’re delighted to have them on board. We’re looking forward to a great partnership between ourselves and Kingsland Drinks…and the quirky wine brand, Shorn!  Sheep on the Salford Red Devils shirt will be a first!”
